Short Description
Candacraig are a prog duo from Lincolnshire, comprising of Sharon Cannings (Vocals, keys, mandolin) and Martin Nicholls (Guitar, Cello) Specialising in cinematic anthems and dark twisted tales, they span rock and folk, using video and lighting to create unique shows across the UK, occasionally utilising additional musicians to become a five piece band.
Their debut album Thunder of Whispers was released to widespread acclaim in 2022…”seemingly effortlessly fuse elements of folk, classic and prog rock” (RnR Magazine) and the duo are currently in the process of recording their second album “Lit by Lightning” for a late 2023 release. “Gliding” will be the first single, to be released in summer 2023.
